Andrew Burns

Chief Executive Officer

Andrew Burns is an experienced senior executive with a proven ability to lead, build, and operate early stage businesses and drive strategic growth by establishing alliances, overseeing investment rounds, and facilitating mergers and acquisitions.

Prior to joining the Gobiquity™ Mobile Health team, Andrew spent time in the digital healthcare space serving in executive positions for both WorldOne and Epocrates. At WorldOne, where he served as Chief Operating Officer, Andrew successfully launched WorldOne Interactive, a division focused on developing and commercializing a digital health product portfolio to connect and engage healthcare professionals. As the Senior Vice President of Business Development and Strategic Alliances for Epocrates, he helped play a role in the company’s growth from less than $10 million to over $100 million in annual revenue.

Andrew completed his undergraduate education at the University of Western Ontario in Canada and his graduate work at the University of Arizona where he received his MBA in marketing and accounting.

Kent Westervelt

Chief Commercial Officer

Kent Westervelt is a creative, connected, and skilled senior business and product development executive with more than 20 years of diverse experience in healthcare IT (HIT), EHRs, mobile health, quality and value-based care/contracts, pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, and pharmacy benefit management.

In his previous senior positions with market-leading healthcare, healthcare technology, and healthcare services companies including Epocrates, Cerner, Eli Lilly, Valence Health, and Thermo Fisher, Kent has proven himself a leader who has consistently delivered results. In addition to his experience with mid to large companies, he has been part of three start-ups and is currently a mentor for Sprint's Health Accelerator run by Techstars.

Kent earned a BS in industrial engineering from University of Illinois and an MBA from Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern.

Bob Quinn

Chief Technology Officer

Bob Quinn is responsible for the strategic and operational oversight of the company’s portfolio of innovative technology. Mr. Quinn brings a robust pedigree of digital health and technology experience to the company. Most recently, he was Founder of 22otters, an interactive patient engagement platform for managing chronic conditions, and Entrepreneur in Residence at Khosla Ventures. Before that, Mr. Quinn spent over eight years as Chief Technology Officer at Epocrates.

Tommy Tam

Co-Founder & Director of Software

Tommy Tam has a proven track record in building successful products and top-notch organizations in the fast-paced technology market. He has a strong background in software development, system architecture, engineering management, and process improvement, and has helped many companies across a multitude of industries build state-of-the-art web-based and mobile applications.

In addition to being co-founder of Gobiquity Mobile Health, Tommy is the founder of software companies Aerio, Inc., Accela, and eAppointment. Tommy has also served as the Director of Engineering and Operations for various consulting, instrumentation, control system, and multimedia companies. Earlier in his career, Tommy worked at Apple Computer and IBM and holds various patents in computer hardware and software.

Tommy’s education includes MS and BS degrees in electrical engineering and computer science from the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Torey Brooks

Director of Account Management

Torey Brooks is an accomplished leader with an extensive background in operations, business development, and financial management. Throughout her professional career, Torey has time-and-time again directed the development and execution of plans that successfully delivered results aligned with company goals and objectives.

Prior to joining Gobiquity, Torey worked for Abbott Medical Optics where most recently she served as Director of Business Operations, responsible for the strategic planning and overall financial results for Integrated Surgical Solutions, LLC (a wholly owned subsidiary), an entity that provided software for the ophthalmic Ambulatory Surgery Center market.

She holds a BS from the University of Mary in North Dakota and an MBA from the University of St. Thomas in Minnesota.

GoCheck Kids, part of the GoCheck mobile vision technology suite, manufactured by Gobiquity, Inc., is a smartphone-based photoscreener that screens for amblyopia risk factors (anisometropia, myopia, and hyperopia) in children aged 6 months to 5 years. It provides the electronic storage of data and uses non-downloadable software.
